‘That’s one of ours’
I work in the hall that has the foil-printing machines. I didn’t use to know what that involved. But there is more to it than I at first thought.
I was still figuring out what I wanted to do. And so I saw this job as just temporary. I didn’t expect that I would still be here after three years. But it’s a nice place to work. Nice colleagues. Yes, I feel comfortable here.
The beauty of this work is that there is a whole process behind it. Everything depends on each other. What they do in one hall, another hall and in the office. Ultimately, it all comes together. I like that the most. That the end product depends on everyone.
When you’re in a shop, you just automatically check. “That’s one of ours.” That’s special. And I’m not the only one who does that. Everyone here does it. And then we talk about it… that wasn’t as nice and those were really beautiful. That’s funny.
We’re in a fantastic building. And you notice that everyone is becoming a bit more environmentally conscious. I think that’s important. We have solar panels at home as well, but not as many as here. And I also recycle at home. But here it’s approached on a massive scale. Even the taps in the toilets are special.
